The biggest band you’ve never heard of ? Yeah quite possibly
Let me tell you these guys are huge in England and especially in their home of Manchester regularly selling out 50,000 arenas
Here on album number 6 Liam ( no not THAT Liam from Manchester , THIS Liam from Manchester) and his gang take a deviation into more electronic mode and it works . Opener “Heart Attack” announces the tone of the album, grabs you by the short and curly’s and away you go
Really good stuff
Finally, taking a leaf out of The Lumineers playbook Courteeners have created a short movie comprising of 3 tracks from this album as well as a short story to accompany the entire package. The videos are great and pieces of art in their own right, I haven’t read the short story (yet)
