Que surpresa deve ter sido na época alguém que conhecia a banda de 99 se deparar com esse álbum tão estranho e ambíguo.
Isso parece afetar os próprios membros da banda também. Meu palpite é que eles quiseram mudar justamente pelo sucesso estrondoso de "Anna Júlia", queriam, eu não sei, serem algo a mais do que só mais uma banda one-hit-wonder que na época foram várias que surgiram.
Mas óbvio que isso não deve ter sido fácil. Ainda me surpreende a capacidade que eles tiveram de mudar desse jeito. Eu ouvi o álbum de 1999 deles e é difícil acreditar que eles são a mesma banda de "Todo Carnaval Tem seu Fim".
No entanto, são esses resquícios da imaturidade do primeiro álbum que afetam o de 2001 negativamente. Parece óbvio que os membros da banda ainda não sabiam o que queriam.
Ainda assim, eles acertam em cheio em certas partes. "Sentimental" sendo quase um ponto a parte da banda. Uma música que é difícil não a ouvir com outro "mindset" porque ela difere sutilmente das outras, todas, as músicas dos Los Hermanos.
