This is one of the best albums of the 2000's, and an all time classic. The White Stripes songwriting and playing here has such an unbridled ferocity behind it. There is an endless amount of sheer musical creativity, wrapped in fuzzed-out garage rock revival glory.

8.8/10

Top Tracks: "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground", "Fell in Love With a Girl", "We're Gonna Be Friends"

Some pretty great cuts, but it's too inconsistent overall to match Elephant or its general reputation.

IMO this album over stays it’s welcome by track 16 . For me Hotel Zorba is a stand out moment . White Blood Cells is better than Di Stijl but not as good as Elephant

Wouldn't call this a great album by any stretch. It's pretty simple, samey, and the lasting impression is that this album is a little lazy. But their formula does work and there are still enough great songs and cool riffs here to get the album to a 7/10 for me.
