Opener “Sports!” is a killer diller unfortunately the remaining 10 tracks don’t work for me which is a shame
Let’s hope album number 3 is a return to the hard edge of their debut

As what seems to be par for the course for those releasing an inspired and energetic if not quite fully realized debut, this seems like a bigger and softer sequel that wants to either be a reflective and more stripped-down singer-songwriter record or massive arty pop album but ends up stuck in a somewhat tedious identity crisis. And mainly I was just wishing it would rock out a whole lot more. I think Dream Wife def still have a lot of potential, singer Rakel Leifsdottir in particular comes across like the fantastic in-between of Bjork and Victoria Bergsman, but this was a considerable dissapointment that just works as reasonably attractive background playlist but little more.
Some interesting tracks, my favorite "Hasta la Vista"
