Trace Mountains is the solo project of Dave Benton who has managed to release a superb lo-fi gem here. The best compliment I can give this album is 'Lost in the Country' in parts sounds like 'Lost In The Dream' (The War On Drugs) and in particular opener "Rock & Roll" , "I am Leaving You" and title track "Lost in the Country". The entire album has this wonderful down to earth home spun feel about it which invokes memories of lazy summer days without a care in the world
