This could almost be a Greatest Hits release by one of the all-time most underrated bands, The Beautiful South. There are some oustanding tracks to keep you interested but the others will start to grown on you too with each re-listen.
One of my all time favorites.

Amazing album and I agree it is terribly underrated.
I love this album... it's like this pop album with the most cleverly offensive lyrics (Woman In The Wall)... bittersweet at its finest (one of my favorite qualities of music).
Solid album, nothing too spectacular but well worth a listen. Personally I think the best track is Woman in the Wall.
Suprisingly underrated.
