Groundbreaking and great... exciting to fusion fans, rockers, funk freaks, and even a few converted jazz purists.

Hard, hard funk. HH if he was in Sly and the Family Stone, and Chameleon is an all-time party jam.

Brilliant all the way through. The second half isn't as incredibly mindblowing as the first two songs but they're still amazing!

Interesting stuff. I think the jazz-funk vibe isn't really my thing, as I haven;t found much of it that I like, but I would still recommend this to people. It's one of the better jazz-funk albums I've heard. I just prefer other fusion styles more

I saw an infographic that described this album as astronaut porn music. Can confirm: definitely makes me want to film a space porno.

The jazz/funk fusion on this record is absolutely brilliant. A classic just for Chameleon alone. Sly is also fantasic and not a bad moment throughout. My favorite Hancock album.

One of the greatest jazz albums of the seventies. Head hunters, is Herbie Hancock's, bitch's brew. A funky masterpiece. More cohesive than Mahavishnu orchestra and Weather report, although those are two great bands, it's just this holds together better as a whole. Herbie Hancock, one of the great keyboard players ever.
