Disappointing. Not sure what I was expecting but I'm pretty underwhelmed. I love Tom Petty. I love Lucinda Williams so this should work for me right? It's not bad. Straight up versions of TP songs but LW sounds flat and lacking energy. She's never had the greatest voice but her passion has carried her through. Not this time. Some very good guitar playing keeps it relatively interesting but it could have been so much better.
