This 1971 compilation features Gospel Icon Mahalia Jackson singing (as the title indicates) America's favorite gogpel songs, and was issued on Columbia Records (Cat#: CGK 30744). It contains 19 spirituals all delivered immaculately by Jackson in her inimitable fashion and will likely bring emotions to the surface of any listener. Authenticated on discogs.com
