Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.0/100, a mean average of 73.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.0.

This album perfectly sums up most of the late 2000s electronic music scene, it's dubstep sure enough, but I can hear inspirations from Trance, Techno, Euro House, early Synthwave and more, it's gorgeous. Of course, it's also extremely cheesy. Some of the vocals are almost unbearable, but it's still highly enjoyable.

Decent dubstep opera with a handful of bangers on here. Nice concept, solid execution.

Pretty much a grand sci-fi electro/dubstep opera. Most tracks are pretty good, some much better than others, and all of the singles are really catchy as well.

Nothing revolutionary here, but it is an immensably listenable album (that's topped the charts as well as producing a no.1 hit) that dubstep fans should really enjoy; the average listener might enjoy a lot of it as well.

Highlights for me are definitely "doomsday", "me and you" and "innocence".
