Really funny and clever concept. Love how heavy and colorful this gets. Not totally in on all of the songwriting, though I admire how adventurous it is. All in all, a real good time.
PUP has received a lot of attention in indie and punk circles in the second half of the 2010s, reaching a climax with the universal critical acclaim of their 2019 album Morbid Stuff. The Unraveling is the follow-up LP to Morbid Stuff.
It's an excellent record that continues to strattle indie and punk rock. Fans of Parquet Courts in particular may like this.
