This album feels like space, but not in a blissful way like Structures From Silence. It feels like floating in space, you're all alone and you realize you are never going to die. You're just going to float all alone for forever, time means nothing.

I think that this is a dull album...
When I saw Tangerine Dream at the Royal Albert Hall they opened with 'Birth of Liquid Plejades', the vision of the 4 cellists in masks at the front of the stage will always come back to me when I listen to this album. The music conjures up desolate empty space, the more I listen the more I hear musical themes rather than walls of sound and I always hear something new with each listen. Swirling Moog backed by sombre organ rise and fall in timeless landscapes. Brilliant!

Unlucky zonrod I like it too. Certainly one of their best, a sprawling epic.
