"This album is good from start to finish and is a favorite. It is so poppy and as many note, Beatlesque. It is probably their most accessible / college rock / alternative offering."  Reply

"This is one of my top 100 albums which you can check out together with additionele comments. Albums like this are not made anymore: the moment I bought "Troublegum" it grabbed me by the throat by its sheer energy and it has continued to do so since then. This album doesn't contain one lesser song..."  [+]  Reply

"Hammer Horror... I have no idea what she is saying in the song but I am enchanted nonetheless. And that chorus... her voice is wonderful, spooky and otherworldly all at once. The strings are delightful and I think there might be a guitar too, like a really tiny one maybe. Anywhos... that song is ..."  [+]  Reply

"The debut album for this garage rock band out of San Francisco is an album that deserves to be heard. And heard very loudly. Check out "Whatever Happened to my Rock n Roll" or "Spread Your Love.""  Reply

"They do rival CSN, whom I really like as well, for their vocals and harmonies. I enjoyed every song on this album and will listen to them many times to come. A very relaxing album."  Reply

"There's really something beautiful about these albums, about everything J Spaceman and Sonic Boom do. An existential longing for meaning, comfort, home. They don't seek concrete answers, just disparate feelings and emotions. Like a last gasp, trying to find one small reason to live, with failed e..."  [+]  Reply

"I'm suprised that I'm the first to rate this, considering the "Eighties/Come As You Are" debacle. In any case, this whole album is the epitome of cool. It's legit. You guys need to go to more goth clubs."  Reply

"I saw Colin Stetson live earlier this year, opening for Godspeed You! Black Emperor. He walked on stage with his bass saxophone and started playing "Judges".
