Bruce Hornsby came to public attention while performing with The Range, and the iconic piano intro to the mega-hit "The Way It Is" is forever seared into the memories of most music fans. Well it's nearly 30 years later and Bruce isn't feeling so serious anymore. He has assembled a new band named The Noisemakers and plays songs with lyrics firmly tongue in cheek. The 10 tracks featured on this 2016 release on 429 Records (Cat#: FTN16141) are old fashioned folk/country tunes with fiddle and twang and a good down home feeling. The lyrics also may cause one to smile more than one would think. Authenticated on discogs.com
