I was drawn to this album by the inclusion of "Tragedy Of The Trade", a song Goffin co-wrote with Dylan. The story goes: Dylan wrote the title and fragments of the first verse (“A young girl dies in the gutter face down…”) and passed it on to Goffin to finish. Goffin then wrote the rest of the lyrics and the music was written by Barry Goldberg. I have included this song on my 'top 100 Dylan cover songs' chart, although it should be noted that Dylan never recorded a version of the song.
