A me "Good things" è piaciuto ( con qualche riserva ) pur avendo in parte i difetti del soul del periodo: è, cioè, molto pulito, perfetto, verrebbe da definirlo scolastico. Lo salvano la scrittura e la produzione, oltre ad un eclettismo grazie al quale dentro ci si possono trovare cose diverse, perfino un'improbabile e riuscita cover di "Femme fatale" dei Velvet Underground.
