This live set was recorded live at Anderson Fair Retail Restaurant in Houston TX, the namesake of the song "Spin on a Red Brick Floor." It's a snapshot of Griffith emergence from coffeehouse singer to MCA recording artist.
Griffith put out some excellent records in this era but people really enjoy this record. It showcases the artist in her most fitting setting: just guitar, the songs, the voice, the stories and some light backup from singers and players. Look for the cover of Eric Taylor's most popular song Deadwood.
