A candle in the dark. She just wanted to add something to a tradition, but she became an inventor. Her passionate voice and her detailled, heratfelt and creative songwritig stands out. Maybe less appreciated is the fact that she brought Postmodernism to the world of Singer Songwriter Country, but simply look at the "Last of the true believers" cover and you see, how deep and detailled her references were and not just a clumsy retro pose as we have them today.
This folk country singer is very special to me. She's gentle and deep...her voice is great! If u don't know her try to,listen "late night grande hotel"...very beautiful one
