I very much like They Might Be Giants other album, Flood, and a few tracks here like Ana Ng remind me of that album and are excellent. But only a few of the tracks here are this good so definitely not their best album in my view but still enjoyable.
There never was anything quite like TMBG. Lyrically maniacal, musically schizophrenic. Lincoln captures their charisma better than there other great albums.
My intro to TMBG and I love it! Quirky and charming yes, but hasn't lost its roots with Punk either.
Has a bunch of pretty good songs, I think I'm going to listen it a few times more.

Julian Koster thinks this album is genius, and I think Julian Koster is genius.
This is TMBG at their smart and quirky best. Lincoln is more consistent than most of their albums though IMO "Don't Let's Start" is still their best song. If you want to try them out then this is the album. Their sound is not for everyone.
