This was actually recorded in 1986 and intended for release in 1987, but the band (despite having designed a new logo and everything) split up, the album was shelved until 2013, and bandleader Richard Barone put out a solo LP called "Cool Blue Halo" instead, one of six he's done so far. "Phantom Train" was originally meant to be 11 tracks; tracks 12-14 are bonus tracks added later. Apple Music calls this their "lost fourth album," but I suspect they always knew where it was, and technically it would have been their third album because "Numbers With Wings" was a 5-song EP.
