Fantastic Norwegian metal. First track has pummeling drums which gives an indication that it's going down a bit of a black metal road. This is not the case. From track 2 onward sets the tone of the album. Heavy as fuck but with the rhythms and riffs of classic metal. Top notch metal album.

A strange mixture of black metal and old school hard rock. It somehow works though.
