It was while compiling all my decade charts that I realized I had sweet fuck all albums from 2010 onward. So this is only showing albums I have. Those near the bottom of the chart are really not worthy of being within a top 100 list but until I have more to displace them, they can have their time in the sun

96.00* Big fan of QOTSA. Heard this once when it first came out and thought it sounded good. At the megastore which sells CD's, 6 months after they're released you can get the newer releases for about half price. Being a cheap cunt I thought I'd wait. Sold out never to be restocked. Took years of looking before I finally found a copy. And it sounded better than I remembered. Hallelujah. 10/10. An album of this caliber is few and far between. Every song a masterpiece in it's own right. The rock, the crooning, the melodies. One of the best albums ever made.

88.00 Great album for when your mind wants to drift. Puts me in a serene happy place. It just takes you along for the ride. One thing I've found with Elbow is that when in the mood it's total perfection. Serenity now.

86.78 More upbeat disposition than the previous decades dystopian sounding albums. The variety of guest vocalists is great giving a varied sound yet still keeping along the same theme overall, (Mark Lanegan my favorite of these). Final few songs ending the album with some fantastic serenity.

84.38* Always loved what I've heard from Nightwish. So been exploring and getting different bands and versions of symphonic metal over the last few years. Some have been good. Then get this. Instantly you can hear the difference. Nightwish fuck all over all other symphonic metal bands. They are the undisputed symphonic metal gods. 04/25

84.375* Atmospheric prog metal from Iceland. What more needs be said. Many layers to it. Just keeps getting better with repeated listens 12/25

82.50 Basically this is a heavy hitting classic metal compilation with such a great range of guest A-list vocalists and musicians. This is by far the best of any of his solo stuff. It also fucks over most of his work on both 'illusion' albums. (I said most, not all) Top notch. 01/24

82.50 Band named after a Nick Cave song. You can hear the influence in the style of some tracks. Classic goth rock. Very consistent right through. Love the vocals, how they lull you into the safety of goth world. How these guys weren't bigger is beyond me. What a happy discovery this was. 11/24

82.428* Great Rockabilly flavored Metal with a touch of Country/Spaghetti Western theme through this. It was the song 'Lonesome Rider' off this that introduced me to Volbeat. Still one of my favorite songs from them. 12/25

82.22 Monster Magnet deserve more recognition than they get. They are the ultimate desert metal groove merchants. They're very consistent with the caliber of albums they put out and this one doesn't disappoint. They stick to a formula that works and don't deviate off the beaten path. You'd think could make them sound stale, but it doesn't at all. Long live the Magnet. 01/24

81.81 Has the sound of an early 70's Uriah Heep but with Siouxsie Sioux vocals. Rosalie Cunningham gives it her own take on psych rock. It's great 10/23
