Songwriting Duo Rusty McFinn and Steve Sawyer set out to write a concept album which rivaled "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and this is the result. Originally released in 1972 by Greene Bottle Records, Inc. (Cat#: GBS 1004) the duo performed tis rock opera supported by innumerable session musicians, purportedly amongst them Tony Levin, Hugh McCracken and David Spinozza. In scope and granduer the album was a minor achievement, however, in quality it was a pipe dream. It was virtually unnoticed at the time of release, but has developed a cult following. The edition I hold is a CD re-release from 2005 on Rev-Ola (Cat#: CR REV 133). It has three additional bonus tracks to supplement the original tracks. For curiosity seekers.
