Apart from the Passionate Friend there aren't many other tracks that would I describe as singles. There are a few good album tracks like Tiny Children, And The Fighting Takes Over, Great Dominions which scrape this album into a 7...just. Julian Cope is one of the voices that I remember from the early 1980's new wave music that swept the UK back then. I'm always interested to hear his solo stuff or in this case with Teardrop Explodes. This hasn't ranked very high in the 1981 chart but I'm sure it was better received then than now.

Definitely has its moments but this is only ... adequate. Too many 'bah bah bah' lyrics for my liking! Tracks 12 to 19 above surely should not be here, because they are only on the expanded edition and not on the original album?

Kilimanjiro is their best album but this also has some brilliant tracks which highlight the genius that is Julian Cope
