You might think that this album was made by an exotic band from the Balkans. They come from Brooklyn, New York and this album is both different and of good quality. If you are looking for something a touch different from the norm, check this out.

I immediately fell in love with this record on my first listen. Even though it's just Balkan folk sounds re-imagined as indie music, there is something brilliant in its novelty (at least to someone who doesn't otherwise listen to Balkan folk).
