Definitely the best album of the 2000s so far. If not for OK Computer, I'd rank it as the greatest of all time. The most emotional, honest, despairing, hopeless album ever recorded. The lyrics and musicianship are absolutely perfect. While Brand New has made 4 incredible albums which each master a different genre, this album incorporates at least 6 genres (indie, rock, punk, post-hardcore, alternative, pop-punk) into one masterpiece. The album is unbelievably addicting, in a sick sort of way, and is a non-stop thrill ride that will take you to your absolute highest and lowest. Listen to this album in the dead of winter on a dark, cold night. You will not be disappointed. Every song on the album (with the exception of the instrumentals) is a standout track. Brand New clearly doesn't believe in filler.

It is a crying freaking shame that this album isn't on this websites top ten. So good. So so so good. And it only gets better with every listen. The lyrics are just so intense and emotional. And the delivery is even MORE-SO. Instrumentals are perfect, vocals are perfect, production is perfect. If you haven't spent at least a week on this album, go and do it, you'll never look at music the same way again in your entire life.

To add to the comments below, I'd say "Degausser" is phenomenol, probably my favorite on the album. The chorus is so forcefully emotional. This shares a little bit in common with sadcore in addition to emo, especially in the later tracks.

The people who love this album REALLY love it. You have to admire an album that people feel that strongly about. I don't love it. Too much yelling. (Edited)

This album is my personal favorite album of all time, the whole album isnt boring for one second, it is packed with emotional highs and lows and it is an album that has truly changed my life, both of how I listen to music but also how I view life itself. This is a true masterpiece that I think everyone in the world has to not listen to, but IMMERSE yourself into atleast once in your lifetime, It may not change your life but it will leave an impact.
Favorite songs:
-Jesus: It was the first song i got into from this album and it is a song that will stick with you emotionally all day.
-Limousine: This 7 and a half minute epic masterpiece builds and falls until the absoulte climax when (in my opinion) the greatest guitar solo of all time comes in.
