The more I listen, the more magnificent it becomes. 75/100 is unbelievably low for this record. The Pot, Vicarious, Right in Two, and Jambi are all instant classic Tool songs. But what makes this album great is the duo of Wings Part 1 and 2.

I'm a firm believer that 10,000 Days (Wings Part 2) is one of the greatest songs ever written. The more I learn about it and the lyrical content, the more I listen closely to the ethereal nature, the layering, the harmonies, the more I'm absolutely blown away. It's scary how good that song is, so deep and so beautiful.

Overall the 2nd half doesn't hold up to the impeccable 1st half, but as a whole it's great.

Every Tool album takes me a long time to learn to appreciate. I think that this one took me the longest. I immediately fell in love with Vicarious, The Pot, and Right In Two, but songs like 10,000 Days and Rosetta Stoned seemed repetitive and subpar for what I came to expect from the band. Over time, the album started making sense and eventually those became my two favorite songs on the album, much like how Pushit/Third Eye and The Grudge/Reflection are arguably my favorites from Aenima and Lateralus. For those having trouble getting into those two songs in particular, my suggestions are: 1. read the lyrics while listening and try singing along - 10,000 Days is MJK at his most vulnerable and open while Rosetta Stoned is him at his most comical and frivolous; 2. listen out for the mid-song "climaxes" - 10,000 Days' has this fantastic bassline playing underneath Adam Jones' solo, while Rosetta Stone's has a very groovy bass and drum break under another guitar solo 3. Listen to them over and over throughout the course of a week... they take a while to sink in, but I'd say given 10-20 listens you should have a good sense of everything going on in those songs.

It blows my mind that there is a hidden track that can be found by playing multiple tracks at the same time. How does one even do that?

Tool deliver AGAIN with an album of pure quality for the ages

Powerful , thoughtful , intense - the thinking mans rock album and group

The Tool Trilogy from AEnima to 10'0000 Days is a masterpiece collection and a MUST for the true music fan

I'd say this is my third favorite Tool album. Not quite as good as Lateralus, but it's pretty close. I think the "Wings" tracks are some of the best music I've ever heard in my life, it's far and away the best song here. (Edited)
