If you aren't listening to both discs playing at the same time, you are doing it the way it was not intended. Like the comment below me, that would be your listening experience. Both discs together creates one of the most powerful and beautiful records I have ever listened to.

This album is truly meant to be listened with both discs playing at the same time. As a double album, it's not particularly great, the first half is awesome, the second half drags and is mostly unnecessary. But put the two together, and you have a pretty awesome album.
