Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 5% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.3/100, a mean average of 75.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.9.

Astonishing album from S.V.E that established her as an artist of rare talent

I'm a massive fan and my love affair began right here

'Tramp' is a triumph

Tramp means a lot to me. Something about Sharon's beautiful, slow voice and melancholy tone just make me feel really touched. Songs like "Give Out" and "In Line" especially bring out some serious angst. While arguably not as good of an album as its successor, Tramp is a darker beast that really sticks with a mood and explores it in full.

A great album. Leonard, is possibly the greatest song of the last ten or fifteen years, it's a stunning song, great lyrics and beautiful music. Elsewhere, tramp, doesn't disappoint, it's full of excellent songs from an artist destined to be around for a while. Good stuff.

Bizarre that this has inspired some hatred... some people have no life and no soul perhaps. Lots of beautiful music here. If it's not your thing move along. You're generic.

One of my all time favorite albums. Sharon has a way of bringing about this catharsis within her music, and it is magical. The way she plays on the energy and dynamics of songwriting and crafting, commands a response from the listener. Every song on this album is pure gold.

maybe, professor, it has to do with the nerve-racking voiceovers.

Yeah I don't get why this has a paltry 72/100. I can live with it not selling millions of records, but it should at least get proper respect on here.
