‘Coconut’ has taken it upon himself to systematically give the lowest rating possible to every Kiss record and pollute the comments sections with boneheaded remarks. Not sure why he keeps ‘listening’ to the band if he hates them so much
As a compilation full of great songs it has to rate somewhat high. However it does contain some interesting and different mixes of some of the songs as well as a new recording of "Strutter" conveniently called "Strutter 78." Came in a mylar packaged double sleeve that looks gorgeous.

This is probably the best album to own if you just want the pure 70s rock n roll peak of KISS's career. Many of their studio albums have weak tracks that detract from the whole but when you combine the very best of each 70s album you actually get a great, high energy rock album. Only bettered by KISS Alive which was a pacesetter in live recordings.
Gild it in platinum it's still crap.
