Sounds like a heavier version of Radiohead or maybe even more The Smile, and the voice of Corey Hanson which sounds very much like Thom Yorke's adds very much to that. The songs are very guitar based but also many other (weird) instruments fight for your attention. The album sounds in a fantastic way with Hangman which goes over nicely in Curtain Call. Songs like Lifeboat have some nice jazzy elements and High Time is just one big long trip with one highlight after the other. Only Mistletoe is maybe a bit too weird to be actually a great song but otherwise I can't find any weaker parts here. One of the best albums of 2024.
