Look, we've all been taken in by albums that look like Satanic or demonic possession is somehow involved, usually because of the album cover, the band name, or the album title, but then we get the album home, play it, and quickly learn that Satan and his minions are basically a no-show, and the whole thing is a sham. But that's not the case here! This album is 100 percent, straight-up exorcism-recording material, basically 45 minutes of a young girl saying various unintelligible things and being constantly interrupted by Beelzebub (or someone who sounds just like him) who, I might add, is not the least bit concerned with trite things like melody, rhythm, or song structure. He just wants to get his message out, whatever that is (I should note here that he, too, is almost completely unintelligible). And who better to "albumize" that message than Gammelsæter, who in addition to being the lead singer of Khlyst (who take a similar sonic approach on their album, "Chaos is My Name"), is a professional biologist who holds a doctorate in cell physiology, and is on the board of at least one Norwegian biotechnology company? So if anyone knows how to prepare human cells for a hostile takeover by the forces of darkness, it's Runhild Gammelsæter. For all we know, she's already worked the whole problem out scientifically and is just looking for some curious denizen of the interwebs to come along and click some innocuous-looking "Helpful? Yes" button on a web-page that will damn him or her (most likely her, knowing Beelzebub) to the darkest pits of cosmic horror for all eternity. (And not you, of course. You're way too clever for such quotidian trickery.)

A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
