An exhilarating listen, this is Chamber Folk at its very best.
Vocally, tonally and sonically just beautiful. This album makes me feel like I'm floating on an endless vacation in the most beautiful place on earth.
This is such an easy album to enjoy and fall in love with. This is because the vocal and musical stylings just sound so satisfying and sweet to the ears. The music just seems to float on by as you get sucked into this tranquil atmosphere that is thoroughly enjoyable to be a part of. They do this through the use of some delicate and beautiful instrumentation which sounds so blissful on songs like Your Protector and White Winter Hymnal. Another huge factor in the success of this album is the vocal work with both the harmonies and lead vocal sounding fantastic. They help to create this serenity for the listener which is a really unique and impressive feat to accomplish. Overall, this is one of those albums that is just so full of beauty and calmness that it makes it so easy to revisit over and over again as it is that fantastic.

I’m going play a few of the songs on this album during my funeral. Some beautiful stuff here.
Solid album
Catchy! Fave songs: Blue Ridge Mountains, Tiger Mountain Peasant Song, White Winter Hymnal.

The music has a mystical kind of quality to it for folk music. Not a favorite for me but it has its moments for greatness. No weak songs or filler. I'd say I listen to this album for its singing mostly. Not saying the rest of the album or music isn't great just not my cup of tea. There's so many ways to listen to music for its qualities. If someone can tell me how else to listen to this album, I'd be curious. I mostly listen to the art of sound and I don't think that's how you listen to this particular album...
It’s such a callback to an older musical style that it almost feels like you’re being put on.
That said, it’s good music, played well. Production is good too.

Really beautiful. The vocal harmonies, though occasional, are a highlight for me.
