Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a mean average rating of 67.0/100. The trimmed mean (excluding outliers) is 67.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 22.1.

Proof that Panic! works better as a band and not a Brendon Urie solo act desperately grasping at modern trends

I have to admit that I avoided this album for years after many friends insisting that I listen to it. I'm very glad that I did but I feel you have to like alternative rock before you can truly enjoy it. It takes a couple of listens to warm up to as well. But it's truly great.

This album is the most under-rated album of the 2010's, easily. So incredibly incredible. There are so many layers on this album, so many layers, so many layers, so many layers. Theres just so much to grasp and the lyrics are so fun and witty. Brendon Urie is the sexiest thing. Honestly the sexiest thing.

Actually, I've changed my mind since then. Who knew that the typical progression of pop - punk to "good" music would be in reverse for me. Pop punk is extremely enjoyable and this is possibly one of the best albums in that genre (from my perspective). Every song is catchy as hell and the best part is that it's not corny and has fairly intriguing ways of writing certain things.

Fortunately they did sweat it out. Even if it was only for one album. I can sort of dig it.

Good pop punk/baroque pop/emo/dance punk/synthpunk album. Best 10 songs average is 85,0/100 and the album can get good 85/100. Best song is "Nails for breakfast, tacks for snacks" 90/100, followed by "The only difference...", "London beckoned songs...", "Camisado" and "Time to dance". All other songs good 80/100.

This is a sentimental favorite for sure, but there are a ton of great ideas here. It's a thought-out, well made pop album. There are the theatrics for which Panic! have become so famous. The songwriting isn't groundbreaking, but they shake it up (and we listen.) I have to love this album, and I do. So there.
