Musically I'd say the basslines are the best feature, and I like their heavyness and depth. The laid-back synth accompaniment is nice but gets a bit old at times. I felt the album could have used more musical variety and daring - and also some more meaningful lyrics, because there's only so much you can say about bit ches, hoes and weed. The rapping itself is very good though, including a good selection of guest rappers in the right measure. The best tracks are pretty great, including closer "Pump Pump" with Mr. Malik. Overall I like the album, and it's better than The Chronic. (Edited)
The album is clearly a spoof of hardcore rap albums. Once you "get" that, then you can appreciate the absurdity of it, much in the style of Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde (although more subtle about it, believe it or not). 9.5/10! (Edited)

Very fun rap record for parties, I also love g-funk beats.
Top notch production, top notch flows and rhymes. Possibly best west coast 90's release.
