This is a beautiful album by Cerys that really shows her Welshness! It's a perfect sister album to "TIR" and features loads of songs and pieces of music (Instrumental pieces) that are really catchy, beautiful or both! The first track features 4 Welsh pieces! One song (Dadl Dau) and 3 pieces of music (Rali Twm Sion, Gorsaf Y Gof and Rachel Dafydd Ifan). And "Ar Ben Waun Tredegar" with its lively instrumental, featuring the pibgorn in particular, or less commonly known in English, the Welsh pipehorn, is a very lively instrument here creating a magnificent, upbeat song. The beautiful hymns, especially "Gwahoddiad" also create a beautiful layout in the album! And the final track, "Tra Bo Dau", a love song, but one that is more sad. I suppose it could be seen as a similar track to "Myfanwy", which appears in Cerys' "TIR" album! However, this is not much of a 'break-up' style song as "Myfanwy" may feel like. And it's more about missing a partner. This album, 10/10 from me!
