"uh" is their best single to date. i can hear 80s influence here, something like Gary Numan, and even a Velvet Underground (circa "Oceans") influence on "Goosebumps". Part of the reason i don't like this album as much as "Transparent Things" is they slow the tempo down too often and don't do enough interesting things with the meat of these songs. But when they pick up the tempo, they hit their stride as on "knickerbocker" and "sore thumb". This is one of many 2008 albums i'd pick tracks from for a hap'nin' dance party.
