This is another album that slipped in after a couple re-ranks -- i just can't resist its smarmy, countrified, eclectic, perverse take on the world. It's sometimes a pretty southern view like in downtown your heart or a devilish, sacrificial romp like 666. In lollalollalollalollalollapalooza, it's as if the spirit of a younger paul simon influenced by today's indie pop came to town. The album goes on like this, embracing folk and country in its own quirkily traditional (yet non) fashion.
