Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 11% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.6/100, a mean average of 73.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.2.

An original and oddly uplifting album. Nothing here is spectacular, but it is consistently very good. 9/10! (Edited)

One of the most bizarrely charming albums I've ever come across. I've never listened to The Streets before, and checked this out on the recommendation of a friend. It really does capture the emotion of the most normal things we all experience in some way. While not profound, it just works because of the human connection.

Unlike Original Pirate Material, this album production don't stand out much. Most of the tracks keep the same style throughout and make it quite a boring experience for me. The "concept" of the album is making the experience weird. It's trying to be some kind of movie without images and it makes the album format sound inadequate. The story in itself is not overly exciting, it's been heard a lot and don't have much to say compared to OPM critical approach. It's still a decent album of course, some verse have style and the production is neat, but I think it drowned in its own ambition of being "something unlike anything else" and ended up being a bit of everything else.

Excellent album - just getting to it now. Remember Dry Your Eyes single. Wasn't expecting this album to be so good - smart and interesting lyrics and delivery - plenty of humour and great story. Love the double ending hahaha

The only Streets album owned and enjoyable it is too....concept album which as a whole is a good listen and then there are three cracking tracks that happily could stand alone, namely Could Well Be In, Fit But You Know It and Dry Your Eyes.
