Poor man's National is way too harsh for these guys, it may not be the most consistent album, but there are some great moments and enough variety to justify a full album.

Lo-fi production. Hi-fi songwriting.
Just getting into this band (thanks to "Seven Psychopaths") and this is the album I started with. Still hard to pinpoint them as they have sounds in garage rock, baroque pop, classic rock, and indie rock. I like the consistency of this album and am looking forward to my future listens of theirs other albums. Favorite Tracks: The Rat, Little House of Savages, Thinking of a Dream I Had
Hilariously underrated by everyone, absolutely class album,
nice dark atmosphere created by choosing old instruments. some few weak moments. still, overall very good record. the rat is amazing.
