Sex and provocation. Maybe, when they are good, they always go together. The straight "Non Stop Erotic Cabaret", the Punk fueled "1999".
'Der Mussolini' is an early 80s dance classic - that fits so nicely into this slightly Industrial German brand of elecronica. A really great album of its type!

I have no idea what they're singing about but it sounds incredibly sexy. Fuck.
The most controversial song on the album and D.A.F.'s breakthrough hit is Der Mussolini and yep, you guessed it, the song is about Benito Mussolini. and it is histerical. It's the most original song ever, Rather than a political song about what an evil person Mussolini was, it has nothing to politics, it's just about Mussolini, shaking his ***, moving his hips, along with his Dancing partners Adolf Hitler and Jesus Christ.
