This album is criminally underrated on this site. Not even in the top 1000 of the year?! I might personally put this in my top 100 of the decade! The other comment says it's not groundbreaking music, and that's probably true, but it is very good music, and that's not a bad thing. "What Makes a Good Man" is fantastic gospel-ey rock, and the xylophone riff in "Big Bad Wolf" along with the "howling" vocals are strokes of genius.

More than a bit manufactured, but that's not always a bad thing. The production on this album is crisp and tight. Jim Abbiss helped out a lot with this album (as well as their previous one) and he has credibility from his work with Arctic Monkeys, Adele, and Kasabian.) It reminds me a lot of a Danger Mouse production. Outside of that, it is what it is - - not groundbreaking but the type of music all types of people can enjoy, especially advertisers (I already heard one song during a Borderland 2 commercial and David Letterman LOVES these guys.)
