It's unbelievable a record with this sound came out in 88. Maybe hip hop tastes and fashion evolved differently in Seattle. It sounds like it was made in 85. I remember a mate made me a rap tape in 88 for my holiday and it had Square Dance Rap on it. I thought it was from years before. It sounded shit then as a kid and not much better now. I can appreciate this album more now than I would if heard in 88 because I love electro. It's still only just about ok.
