Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Shortlisted for album of the year at the Grammys in 1984. The Winner was Thriller by Michael Jackson
A nice little compilation of mid 80's pop stuff.
1980's soundtrack goodness at its best. Irene Cara's song is a classic and "Maniac" is an 80s staple as well. Some of the non-hits are solid as well, such as the Donna Summer and Laura Branigan tracks.
