Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 71.5/100, a mean average of 70.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 71.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 20.3.

An incredible Early-80’s hard rock/glam metal album that didn’t quite explode like Dr. Feelgood did.
This is the album that introduced me to hard rock/metal when I was a kid. It will always hold a place in my heart
Gotta say, this is a really solid album. Probably Motley Crue's best and their most perfect blend of heavy metal and glam metal. Motley Crue will always remain a dumb band, but they've got some good hard rocking tunes.
I have played looks that kill more times that I can admit.
There a number of solid hair metal tracks on this album
This is a classic for me. Shout At the Devil and Looks that Kill are some of their best songs. Great Cover of Helter Skelter.
Best Tracks: Too Young To Fall In Love, Looks That Kill
Priceless fun for those youthful years.
Most of the songs sound the same to me. Plus, the choruses mostly consist of the title repeated three or four times. Many songs use the same tempo.
Worst band ever nominee
I loved this as a kid. It hasn't aged well. Motley Crue is fun, and this album isn't their best. Stick to Feelgood, but only in small doses.
