Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 70.5/100, a mean average of 69.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.4/100. The standard deviation for this album is 20.4.

É só ouvir que dá pra sentir os cabelos ao vento, uma roupa animal print marca-texto e se sentir o mais fodão de todos!
Had this tape but was never a favourite and this style was on the wane by then. GNR had made the ultimate record associated with this type of thing a couple of years earlier. The only way to go was more production, dumber (see lyrics) and just try and sound like you are having the best dumb rock n roll time ever. I guess the singles do bring that vibe and are enjoyable with good riffs. Ok for what it is.
The Crue had reached there peak on this record. Great album!
As a Crüe fan, I have to say I don't like this album. The production is really good, the title track and Kickstart are amazing songs. For the most part, the band is out of their lane with the groovy blues style they try and go for here. Not for me.
A good album made by a dumb band trying really hard. Production is fantastic - songwriting like most Motley Crue songs is serviceable. The title track, "Kickstart My Heart and "Same O' Situation" are the best tracks on the album. "Without You" is a guilty power ballad pleasure for me.
Vince Neil really nails the most fast, hard-rocking songs. It's the slower songs were he kinda lets the band down.
Produced by Bob Rock.
Worst than many albums from that years, anyway a pretty good hard rock album, with no many hits.
They blew up with this album. Lots of hits here.
Discazo. No me canso nunca de escucharlo.
Don't scoff... This is good fun.
What KISS made it in the 70s these guys took it further. Motley is one of the best hard rock/metal bands ever for music and attitude. Dr. Feelgood, Kickstart My Heart and Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) are truly hard rock anthems.
