Own: US Skye promo, 1969 LP, as well as their only single. An absolute once in a lifetime planet-aligning magical event of a record. Teen girl sisters aged like twelve and fifteen or something, named (I lie not) Wendy & Bonnie Flower. The older sister (I think Wendy) wrote all these wonderful wide-eyed songs packed with melody, invention, lyricism and perfect naïveté - with a sophistication way beyond her (their) years. There's a lightness and beauty in these tracks that is hard to define, and a sweet melancholy to the lyrics. The recording is so full of space and air - the very essence of everything missing from music since the 70s. An total classic and every song is fantastic. I play it often and it always sounds gorgeous.
