Really fun and underrated 80s pop record.

Fuzzbox’s big try to crack the mainstream with this album but ultimately falling short - sort of ( several singles actually reached the top 30 in England)

My relationship with Fuzzbox goes back to their genesis in 1986 with early singles and an EP so by the time this album came out in 89 I’d moved on but purchased this album regardless and it sits in my LP rack to this very day

“International Rescue “ is cooky and cringey but I really dig its roller coaster anthemic vibe whilst “Irish Bride” is a shameless attempt at a smooshy power ballad but goes ok

‘Big Bang’ will never appear on any best of lists but it will always hold a special be it small part in my musical world
