A severely overlooked album both in Deerhunter's discography and in the genre as a whole. Weird Era is Microcastle's noisy, more experimental counterpart that all but cemented Deerhunter for me as one of the most interesting rock bands of the late 2000s/early 2010s.
Would be better if the last track was removed.

A great experimental sister album to Microcastle. Offers some great tunes as well as some very trippy moments- pure Deerhunter madness! best tracks: Backspace century, dot gain, vox humana, slow swords
To all of those who never listen to it and enjoyed Microcastle, you're missing something. Operation - Dot Gain - VHS Dream - Slow Sword - Moon With Cartridge .
