I don't get all the really low ratings for this album. Seems like quite a likeable album to me. Not great, but if you liked it in the 90s, still makes for interesting listen every couple years or so. That voice is somewhat of a novelty. Most songs are catchy even if you can't quite remember them off-hand. I never poured over the lyrics... but seems like your better off not. I don't have much faith in these guys as philosophers lol
The first CD I ever owned. Probably awful, but I just can't dislike it. As my voice changed, I wanted to be Brad Roberts.

GSHF is a song writers album. It's an amazing collection of finely crafted numbers. Maybe lyrics fans don't care for it but I love it for the music. When it came out I don't think I played much else for a month. LOVED IT! So there all you music snobs.
Pleasantly surprised, thought it may be a bit of a novelty record but actually there are some really nice songs on this - well worth a listen. if you've heard Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm then you know what to expect.
It doesn't matter if this was intended to be ironic or not, this still is the worst of the unlikely 90s success stories. It's like your eardrums are being assaulted with heaps of sugar mixed with broken glass. Its...just....ugh (Edited)
